What is WhaleShark? WhaleShark is a software for education, training and evaluation of marine/land personnel about ship work. How can I update WhaleShark? WhaleShark supports automatic updates by principally.
If the environment connected to the Internet, WhaleShark can be automatically updated and you can check new educational materials.
If internet connection is not available, you can update the update file manually via USB or e-mail.
How do I request the production of educational materials? In addition to basic training materials, you can request matters that have become particularly big issues or matters that are needed due to the circumstances of the customer.
Requests are made through internal deliberation and discussions on materials and educational content.
How many trainings are available? How much does it cost to add training? Customers using WhaleShark can use any training developed by SEATECH.
No additional cost is required for additional training. Do I have to use a tablet? Is it impossible to use a computer? Available. you can use it through “Web-WhaleShark” among the functions of SEATECH WEB.
A extra contract is required to use this feature. Can training progress be monitored onshore? Yes, it is possible.

Does WhaleShark MEMBERSHIP require a extra fee? No extra cost is required.
It is provided free of charge to customers who have contracted WhaleShark.
How is the license number delivered? The contracted ship's WhaleShark license number is renewed every 6 months.
The license number to be renewed is delivered via email before the previous license number expires, and the license can be updated with a simple operation.

What is BELUGA? It is a program that manages the work/rest hour of seafarers through a tablet PC.
It is possible to automatically identify nonconformities according to the entered time and issue nonconformity reports accordingly.
Can the recorded form be viewed, edited and sent? Yes, you can view, edit and send records with simple operations. Can the recorded form be backed up and printed out? Yes, you can back up and print records with simple operations. Are there any restrictions on the number of people used? There is not.
You can freely register, edit and delete all crew members on board the contracted vessel. How is the license number delivered? The contracted ship's BELUGA license number is renewed every 6 months.

What is BlueWhale? This software is developed for effective management of Safety Management System on ships and shore. How are documents uploaded? There are two ways of uploading the document directly from the customer through the SEATECH web and the way upload the document by sending it to SEATECH. How do I upload a form? We are developing and registering the form provided by the customer so that it can be used in the Android environment and easier to use than the form created in the existing MS office etc. Do you convert all forms into BlueWhale and put them? No. The amount used depends on the number of forms.

In order to use the benefits of BlueWhale,
it is recommended to use on-site checklists or documents that are frequently sent to shore through BlueWhale.
And, in the case of a form with a lot of records using the keyboard, it will be more convenience if fill out the form using the desktop.

What is PINCTADA? This software is for testing the English proficiency of seafarers. Is there any need to install specific software? Yes, since the test is conducted through the website of SEATECH,
there is no need to install additional software. Are there any restrictions on the number of test? There is not.
You can use it freely for an unlimited time during the contract period. How to use PINCTADA? It proceeds in the following order.

1. Register Code Number and Name through the MEMBERSHIP page
2. Inform Code Number to test takers
3. Test taker log in to PINCTADA on SEATECH website using the Code Number and Name provided to take the test.
4. When the test is over, you can check the test results and certificates through MEMBERSHIP on the SEATECH website.
How can check the test results? When the test is completed,
contractor can check the test results and certificates through MEMBERSHIP on the SEATECH website.

What should I do if the tablet PC I or accessories’ purchased is broken? The tablet and accessories provided by SEATECH is the manufacturer's genuine product.
Please refer to the enclosed manual to take action and contact the manufacturer's service center if you cannot solve it. >What should I do with the tablet and accessories after the contract ends? The tablet and accessories are owned by the contractor.

However, since the software installed inside is owned by SEATECH.
If you deliver the tablet to SEATECH after the contract is terminated, SEATECH will deleted the SEATECH software and the tablet PC will be returned to the contractor. The screen is small. It can be used as a group by connecting a TV or projector through a Bluetooth dongle and using a larger screen. Can I use my own tablet? Yes, you can.
If you purchase a tablet PC that meets the tablet specifications required for smooth use and deliver it to US, we will install the software on the tablet PC. Do I have to use a tablet? Tablet has the following advantages, so SEATECH manufactures and provides all software for tablet.

- Low possibility of equipment damage due to hull vibration
- Good portability and can be used anywhere
- Easy to connect to other output devices (beam project, TV, various monitors etc.)
- Built-in backup power allows it to be used even in an emergency
- Easy to electronic signature. Can't I download software through the Play Store? Sorry.
For security reasons, we are not currently registered on Play Store, and we will install and supply directly from SEATECH. Can it be installed on explosion-proof tablets? Yes it is possible.
If contractor send an explosion-proof tablet that meets the required specifications to SEATECH or request a purchase agent, we will install SEATECH's software on the corresponding explosion-proof tablet and return them to contractor.
